7) Message boards : News : Request for feedback (Message 365) Posted 27 Jun 2019 by [AF>Le_Pommier] Jerome_C2005 Post: The nanohub tasks do not seem to have a peaceful coexistence with other projects running at the same time (I always do this), especially if you have to reduce the number of tasks due to resources consumption. I was forced to reduce to 3 at the same time, and i had odd behavior of tasks "not running for a long time" (and not using any CPU), or kinda blocking the other projects tasks to run... Also it downloaded a huge number of tasks (several hundreds) when I have a reduced cache setting (one or two days max), the deadline was getting close and I had to cancel a whole bunch (I didn't wait for boinc to do this eventually). At the moment it is not requesting nH again anymore because it is happy crunching other projects, but I assume it will again .

All these errors between yesterday and today, though. Check this one. (log is too long for me to post it here) I confirm the memory requirement is quite high on the mac too (up to 2 GB per task), even with a 16 GB RAM machine I had to limit to 4 tasks at a time to keep a usable machine.
