I have checked out the nanohub.org website as well as NCN's website and I find no mention of Boinc and nanoHUB@home. If nanoHUB@home is the processing power behind all of the tools that are developed through nanohub.org I find it disconcerting that the effort and contributions of the Boinc volunteers (or volunteers of other distributed computing projects used by nanohub.org) are not being acknowledged. None of the systems mentioned on the middleware nor infrastructure pages mention Boinc. The best I found was this wepage https://nanohub.org/about/simulate that says "[the nanohub.org tools] are actually powered by a sophisticated cyberinfrastructure and run transparently in a scientific computing cloud that taps into Purdue University and national grid resources." One should also note that Boinc is an international, not just national, distributed grid resource. |

I posted an email to the contact section of NCN Web site and received a response from a contact there that they were the organization behind nanoHUB@home and that he would forward my concerns regarding the nanoHUB@home site to the correct person for review and action.
